Commercial Cinematography is all about having vision for what you create and using the skill and expertise to give shape to that vision—it’s an art that True Shades Photography excels in.
What is cinematography?
The word has its origin in Greek and is actually a combination of two words—Kinema, which indicates movement and graphein, which means to record. In other words, cinematography is the art of photographing a movie or a film—in a nutshell it is the art of motion-picture photography. Commercial cinematography then is all about handling various film making projects and bringing them to fruition.
We are the specialists
At True Shades Photography we have the ability to extend our expertise and skill to a wide variety of commercial projects. As the success of any project depends upon the correct use of lighting, composition, lenses and more, you can rest assured that you are in good hands. We use the tools that we have and ensure that the visuals are not only meaningful but also drive the story in the direction it’s supposed to move.
Our cinematographers are of the top bracket and commercial cinematography is their forte. After all, the real power of this art lies in the ability to evoke various emotions through exceptional camera work and excellent lighting. They are also equipped to make crucial decisions about how the film or movie is going to look and feel without losing sight of the main object of the film- to shape it according to the clients’ needs.
Why is commercial cinematography so important?
Commercial Cinematography is a great tool to get a message across to a targeted audience; in fact it plays an important role in today’s marketing landscape as it’s an important medium through which products can be showcased and highlighted via animation.
Though modern commercial cinematography tends to be very short, the vibrant message and the animated way in which the story is delivered to the audience more than compensates. Cinematographers use social media effectively to deliver ads and films in a cost-effective way and this has leveled the playing field for small companies, who couldn’t measure up to their bigger and better counterparts.
